MARGAO: South Goa district Magistrate, N D Agrawal on Thursday revoked the No Objection Certificate (NOC) granted for a shopping exhibition on the South Goa Planning and Development Authority.
Based on the district Magistrate’s order, the Margao Municipal Council is reported to have revoked the permission granted for the exhibition. Agrawal told Herald on Thursday that he took the decision to revoke the NOC on grounds of violations of a host of conditions, including the safety and security of the people.He pointed out that the organisers failed to make arrangements for even basic facilities such as bins, adding the organisers violated all the NOC conditions with impunity.
