VASCO, APRIL 22
Verna police on Thursday booked an offence against a student of Fr Agnel Ashram Polytechnic Institute and his friend from Panjim on charges of appearing for exam on his behalf.
According to Verna police PI Jivba Dalvi, a minor boy from Panjim appeared with impersonation on behalf of his friend, who is pursuing Automobile Engineering course at Fr Agnel Ashram Polytechnic Institute to answer Environmental Study paper on Thursday.
“However the clever tactic of both the boys could not fool a vigilant examiner, who immediately caught the boy for pretending himself as the student to answer the paper,” added PI Dalvi
Fr Agnel Ashram principal lodged the complaint and Verna police booked an offence under Section 419 of IPC r/w 34. Verna police is investigating the case.
