With talks of protection money from clubs and restaurants making the
rounds, North Goa SP Nidhin Valsan on Tuesday said these are rumors. He added that an inquiry to find out if such
incidents have taken place, was conducted by the crime branch but the inquiry
didn’t prove to be fruitful. He however added that the police will look into
the meeting that allegedly took place at a hotel and will take necessary
action. Instead of raising the issue over social media, it is better that
people file a complaint at a police station said Valsan
