PONDA: An 18-year-old youth Raju Rathod died in a road accident on the Curti-Kerya Highway near Amigos Hotel, on Sunday morning.
Rathod, reportedly not wearing a helmet and hailing from Gadag, Karnataka, hit a divider and succumbed while he was taken to Sub District Hospital, Ponda.
According to police, the accident took place at 7.30 am as Raju was proceeding to Gadag-Karnataka from Calangute.
