PONDA: Ponda police arrested three persons in connection with group clashes at Marcaim.
Ponda police have identified the accused as Yogesh Naik, Khemraj Naik and Vedanand Naik. The trio has been remanded to five days custody for further inquiry.
It may be recalled that Jaykrishna Naik in his complaint stated that the accused had an altercation during ZP voting at Caranjal-Parampai booth.
The accused attacked Jaykrishna’s brother and damaged his car. Jaykrishna said his brother lost three fingers during the chopper attack.
