PANJIM: The State government through the Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) has constituted a ‘Transport 4All Task Force’ (TTF).
This task force has been formed for the ‘Transport4All’ digital innovation challenge to encourage ownership from all agencies/organisations, to facilitate seamless co-ordination and to leverage complementary strengths of the various agencies.
The 13-member strong TTF has the State Transport Director as the Chairman and the ISCDL General Manager as the member convenor of the committee.
Some of the other members include, the Commissioner of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP); North Goa Deputy Collector; Panjim Traffic Cell Inspector and representatives of the Public Works Department (PWD), Town and Country Planning Department (TCP), Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTCL), Greater Panaji Planning and Development Authority (GPPDA) and Goa Engineering College (GEC). The remaining members include the President of the Goa Auto Rickshaw Association, the President of the All Goa Taxi Union Association and a representative of the Panaji Urban Living Lab (PULL).
The Urban Development (UD) Department, which has issued the notification, further spoke about the responsibilities of the task force. These include understanding the concerns and needs of all stakeholders through surveys and consultations and to define problem statements based on priority concerns and needs.
