PANJIM: The Panjim police arrested two persons for allegedly possessing drugs in separate raids carried out within less than one km distance.
In the first raid, the team caught Hanumant Karbimanna (32) of Taleigao red handed with 180 gms of greenish colour leafy substance suspected to be ganja, worth Rs 36,000 approx. The raid was carried out near D B Ground at Campal late Thursday night.
In the second raid, a Ponda resident Sandesh Kutkar (24) was caught with 110 gms of suspected ganja worth Rs 22,000 approx.
