A 58-year-old pedestrian from Satarda-Maharashtra died, after she was knocked down by a speeding motorcycle near Railway Bridge at Poraskadem-Pernem on Wednesday morning.
According to Pernem police, the incident occurred when Andi Anant Mandrekar was walking along the road. She died on the way to GMC.
VASCO REPORTER ADDS: A youth from Cuelim-Cansaulim died in a collision between a scooter and a jeep near Pilar on Thursday evening.
According to Agacaim police, Lawrence Andrade died on the spot after the Dio, which he was riding, collided against Scorpio jeep.
According to the eyewitness, the jeep, which was proceeding towards Panjim knocked down Andrade, who was coming from the opposite direction.
Agacaim police has registered a case of accident and is investigating the case.
