MARGAO: Will Chairperson Arthur D’Silva hand over his charge to his deputy during his visit to Mumbai to attend the three-day training program on solid waste management?
This question did the rounds in the corridors of the Margao civic body on Tuesday after the municipal office confirmed the Chairperson’s participation in the three-day training program in Mumbai, beginning from June 3. Co-incidentally, Municipal vice-Chairperson Berta Cardozo and some other councillors have not shown their willingness to attend the training program. In the past, Arthur had declined to hand over charge in his absence to his deputy Pratima Coutinho.
