MARGAO: One Neya Sudesh Mane, resident of Karebhand, Margao who suffered grievous injuries when she slipped off from the scooter when hit by Karnataka registration truck that went over her legs in front of Navelim church at 8.30 pm on Sunday Nov 24 succumbed to injuries at the Goa medical college hospital, Bambolim where she was shifted from Margao.
According to police information Mane travelling on scooter slipped from the scooter traveling and her feet came under a truck causing grievous injuries and she was immediately shifted to Hospicio hospital, Margao and as her condition was serious she was rushed to GMC hospital at Bambolim were she died.
The Margao police informed that the driver of Karnataka registration truck KA-24-3925 has been arrested for rush and negligent driving and further investigation to be in progress.
