The Sessions court on Friday rejected the anticipatory bail applications filed by Power officials in the Xeldem sub station theft case.
Sessions Judge U V Bakre rejected the bail applications moved by Executive Engineer V Prasad and Junior Engineer, Sandeep Borkar.
The duo had knocked the doors of the Sessions court after the police had arrested the scrap yard dealers in the case.
The electricity department had earlier placed under suspension the Junior engineer after the theft of scrap material had come to light. The Executive Engineer V Prasad was immediately transferred from Xeldem by the government
The Curchorem police are presently investigating into the complaint lodged by the Electricity department in the case.
