Having conceived, a woman bears lots of pain, hardship during pregnancy. One fine morning (metaphor, intended) delivers a baby with lots of labour pain by screaming, bleeding and what not? Immediately forgets all that pain, sufferings, once she looks at the face of the new born. Her joys know no bonds once she realises that a baby boy is born to be proud mother. Slowly she comes out of trauma, starts enjoying her motherhood by playing with the baby.
During end 2016 Demonetisation declared by the government brought, a bad labour pain for every Indian. Long queues in banks, non-functional ATMs due to lack of currency, withdrawal limits, no currency to buy daily commodities for a common man, problems of disbursement of salaries to a businessman, are all exactly similar to a screaming and bleeding mother during delivery time. But where is the baby? It is very hard to digest for a confused common man that a baby boy is already born for India.
If we open the pages of history of India, initially Mughals invaded and ruled our country for many decades. During their rule, to visualise slavery and pains of our ancestors, every Indian common man should keep an interest to see the T.V, serials like, Rana Pratapsingh, Ashok chakravarthy, Chandranandini, Bajirao Peshwa which are dramatically presented true stories of the Indian history. Before leaving, the Mughals looted and transferred our wealth and gold to their country making India considerably poor. After the Mughal era, the British and Portuguese rule started by continuing the slavery looting the wealth of India. During both the period lots of conversions have taken place as a result Indian community got divided as Hindus, Muslims and Christians. The country ruled by various kings and rulers at one point of timebecame orphan during end of British rule. But slowly few freedom fighters came in lime light, like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Subash Chandra Bose, Vallabhai Patel, etc. by organising aggressive freedom struggle. Finally the dream of India’s freedom against British and Portuguese rule came true and today we are all enjoying the freedom of life without any realisation and remembering what our ancestors must have suffered to give us the enjoyment of freedom.
Today we Indian’s are abusing freedom, right from politicians, to, Government servants and businessmen. After liberation the country should have been on the path of developments in infrastructure and technology to cater to basic living standards of every Indian. In the rural areas of India at this stage of liberation people do not have still electricity, drinking water and toilets in many of the villages. People living in the cities, cannot even visualise these conditions of remote villages as no Indian is remembering what hardships of slavery faced by our ancestors during invasion of Mughals and Britishers.
Our freedom fighters dreamt of good living conditions to every Indians. But our present politicians, bureaucrats and businessmen have indirectly invaded and looted India converting our wealth into black money, like Mughals and Britishers who looted India’s wealth earlier. Indian economy was totally imbalanced during last few years with lots of scandals, scams, with poor governance. Sacrificing nature and philosophies like our ancestors does not exist at all today whereas life style has totally changed of every Indian with extraordinary freedom. Our hangover of freedom can be visualised by looking at lack of responsibility of government servants, rapes, murders, lack of civic sense, traffic sense, goondagiri, all due to poor government machinery. But Britishers and Portuguese had practiced lots of discipline in their governance, which one cannot find in our present life today. A smallest country like Singapore has a strict governance to maintain all sorts of social discipline.
We are also not disciplined in paying government taxes and levies, on which healthy government machinery runs. Having paid all taxes and levies in the economic system the turnover develops official money transacted through the banking system. Whereas avoiding taxes in the turnover generates black money. It is our moral responsibility to contribute towards functioning of government machinery. By avoiding to pay required taxes to the government, the black money getting generated, develops a pare unofficial economic system giving an openings to, funding terrorism, bribing government servants, distributing huge fund to win elections, gambling and matka, developing land banks and circulating of black money in real estate etc. Such black money is stored by politicians and businessmen in huge godowns and transferred by truck loads which a common man struggling for his livelihood knows nothing about it.
After Independence, different governments have talked about black money but did nothing to eradicate the same thinking this can backfire everyone at political level. Digitalisation in govt system never happened as every politician and Government servant can be taken for a task with the reports generated by the digital system. No CCTV cameras installed in the government machinery as every robber can be caught. Who is responsible for the lack of implementations of technology, to tackle the discipline in the economic system?
All politicians of BJP may not be sane, but Modiji did it. When black money crossed the limits, Modiji came forward to save India from imbalanced economic system. It is said, out of Rs. 15, 50,000 crore worth big currency, already Rs. 14,50,000 crores have come in the banking system. Remaining amount possibly will come before March 2017. Benami properties, deposits abroad and yellow metal wealth must be handled here after which is further responsibility of the govt, possible only if people of India cooperate and use brains to form a strong majority govt. Banks are flooded with funds which were deposited during demonetisation period. Now banks have no alternative than to disburse loans with very low rate of interest to agriculture, housing and small businesses whereby common man will get banking support to come up in the life, unlike earlier the loans were given only to the rich communities to expand their empire. Among more than 200 crore people of India, as per T.V report only 4 crore tax payers were existing. Today voluntarily bank deposits, tax payers have increased to 8 crores which means government will be flooded with funds. The said funds will be utilised in the infrastructure development of the country like roads, highways, bridges, stadiums, community halls, electricity and water supply to remote villages, construction of toilets, employing more government staff increasing the standards of government staff particularly the police department who are the victims of corruption due to their poor salaries. But in any developed country police are highly paid and social discipline being maintained. In Goa, we can see the new Mandovi, Zuari bridges; highways near Pednem, Verna and Canacona, new airport at Mopa all cost huge funding from centre which is possible only by a ruling government. Scheme of low cost housing for BPL families with a loan of 10-12lakhs at 3% interest rates, and many more to bring the living standards up for the BPL community existingin large percentage. The GST to be implemented, can improve our transperancy in our economic system.
Demonetisation has drastically brought down the corruption and black money at all levels. If everything goes well, India will stand in the list of any other developed country here after and show the whole world that we are self-sufficient country. As it is Indian brain is appreciated all over and recently by Donald Trump. Modiji has been figured in the list of top politicians of the world as a special personality. An ancient Golden Era of India can be seen by every Indian very soon if the corrupt leaders are side-lined and Modiji is promoted to practice his thoughts without caring for anybody in this world.
