NAVELIM: Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda defeated CRC Chinchinim 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Gold Silver football trophy organised by Navelim Sporting Club, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Tuesday.
Stevan Fernandes of CRC Chinchinim should have found the ball at the back of CRC Chinchinim net in the 6th minute but Danny Dias of Don Bosco tackled his move inside their box.
It was Cliff Barretto of Don Bosco who drew the first blood in the 15th minute with his high voltage grounder but it crushed into the CRC Chinchinim nylons.
Within five minutes Charlton Pereira doubled the lead for Don Bosco.
