VASCO: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda stormed into the quarter-finals of the 44th Bandodkar Memorial football tournament, overcoming the challenge of St Savio Sports Club, Calangute 5-3 via the tie breaker, at MPT ground, Vasco.
The teams were level till the end of regulation time.
In the 21st minute Anket Mandrekar took the lead for St Savio accepting a crisp pass from left flank, by Domnic Fernnades (1-0).
23rd minute saw Francis Andreade of Fatorda draw level off Danny Dias assist.
In the tie-breaker, Francis Andrade, Clinton Vaz, Valito Miranda and Jesmon Soares were on target for Don Bosco. For St Savio, Domnic Fernnades and Deep Govekar scored.
