MAPUSA/RAIA: Calangute Association SC continued their winning streak as they got the better of Chapora Yuvak Sangh 3-0 in the Goa Football Association’s U-20 League match played at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Sunday.
It was once again Calangute Association’s striker Mervin D’Souza who was at his very best scoring a goal in each session of play.
In the 90th minute, Baburav Shetye pumped in Calangute Association’s third goal, 3-0. In the last match at Nagoa, Calangute Association had pipped Pax of Nagoa by 1-0 margin. Mervin D’Souza had scored the all-important goal for the winners.

Ace Academy win
Ace Soccer Academy downed Rising Star SCC 7-1 in the Goa Football Association U-14 Division II League match played at Cansaulim sports complex ground. Nilesh Yadav scored a hat-trick, Sydon Colaco scored a brace, while Pawit Dhumale and Jose Oliveira scored a goal each for Ace Soccer Academy. The only goal for Rising Star was scored by Prakash Dodamani.

Snow’s FA win
Snow’s Football Academy scored a 2-0 win over Wilred Leisure SC in the Goa Football Association U-18 Division II League match played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda. Daksh Borkar and Prajyot Pilgaonkar scored a goal each for Snow’s Football Academy.
