NEW DELHI: Services will be in the South Zone and Railways in the East Zone in the upcoming 69th National Football Championships for Santosh Trophy starting January 10 till January 23, after a draw of lots was held at the All India Football Federation Headquarters in Football House, here, on Wednesday.
The draw was attended by Competitions Committee member from Delhi, Hemchand, AIFF Integrity Officer Javed Siraj, Assistant General Secretary and Retd. Lt. Col. BMR Mehta.
The teams of the five zones will look like:
North Zone: Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi.
South Zone: Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar, Services and Andhra Pradesh.
North East Zone: Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur
West Zone: Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Madhya Pradesh.
East Zone: West Bengal, Odisha, Railways, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim.
