RAIA: Guardian Angel SC secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Carmona SC to advance to the semi-finals of the 17th all-Goa inter-village Seraulim Panchayat Cup football tournament, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim and played at the Seraulim panchayat ground.
Guardian Angel dominated proceedings right from the start, but it took them 28 minutes to break the deadlock, with Regan Costa finding the net to put his side ahead.
At the half-time whistle, Guardian Angel SC led 1-0.
The second half continued in the same vein, with Guardian Angel in control. Regan Costa doubled his tally in the 38th minute, completing his brace.
The victory was sealed in the 46th minute when Cyril Dias added a third goal, securing a 3-0 win.
