RAIA: Parish Youth Nuvem registered a fluent 2-0 win over Curtorim Gymkhana to move into the quarter-finals of Curtorim Panchayat Cup 2025 organised by Maina Sports Club at the St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday.
Curtorim Gymkhana had the first chance to score when Ryan Fernandes’ free-kick kissed the crossbar and went out of play. Parish Youth Nuvem broke the deadlock in the 10th minute through Darwin Colaco, who neatly finished after receiving a fine pass from Shenoy Colaco to make it 1-0.
In the second half, PY Nuvem doubled their lead in the 36th minute when Frazer Miranda slotted home to seal the victory, 2-0. Despite Curtorim Gymkhana’s late attempts to reduce the margin, PY Nuvem’s defenders stood firm till the final whistle.
