PANJIM: St Xavier’s College, Mapusa, scored a grand double winning the Goa University’s inter-college men as well as women’s championships, Thursday.
In men’s final, Xavier’s defeated Dempo 3-1 via the tie-breaker. Ashish, Jolwyn, Robert were on the target for Xavier’s.

In women’s final, Xavier’s trounced Rosary College, Navelim 4-0. Pradnya Maulingkar, Teja Nagvekar (2 each) scored for Xavier’s.
Dr Francis Lobo College, director of physical education and sports, Rosary College, was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.
