PANJIM: The President of Futsal Association of Goa, Benjamin Silva announced that the 2nd State Futsal Championship will be held from November 15 to 30..
For the last edition, the president said that the team entries were restricted to 16 teams, but this year we will not be restricting the entries as we need maximum participation of Futsal players.
The winners and runners-up will be awarded cash prizes of Rs. 75,000 and Rs.50,000 respectively. Cash prize will be also awarded in the women’s category, bur there will be no entry fee for women teams. The last date to register the team is October 30. The president also said that the Senior Futsal Nationals will be held in Goa this year end and this championship will be a platform to select the state teams.
