CORJEM-CURTORIM: Virabhat Sports Club defeated Unjirim Sports Club 2-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Corjem Youth Club inter-ward soccer, organised by Corjem Youth Club, played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim on Wednesday.
Virabhat opened the scoring through Edwin who converted from the penalty spot in the 6th minute.
In the 18th minute, Edwin doubled the lead for Virabhat.
As the match progressed, Sheldon pulled a goal back for Unjirim. Virabhat will meet Fondegal SC in the quarter-finals.
