MMC Chairperson Deepak Naik, councillors and Vasco traffic cell in-charge PI Sudesh Narvekar carried out a joint inspection of the road on Wednesday. The inspecting team was informed that most parking slots were wasted either due to improper parking or by people who park their vehicles and leave for their workplace by bus or train.
“After deliberations, it was finally decided to impose pay parking opposite the municipal building in Vasco on trial basis. If all goes well, then we will will impose pay parking in other areas too,” said Naik.
