MARGAO: Social Activist Aires Rodrigues today moved the South Goa Sessions Court against the Fatorda Police Inspector for his failure to register an FIR based on his complaint lodged with the police against TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai on September 30.
His contention is that Vijai had hatched a criminal conspiracy and committed cognizable offences under the Indian Penal Code and Prevention of Corruption Act and had accordingly lodged a complaint with the Fatorda police and also submitted a CD as evidence.
However, since the police did not register an FIR, Aires complained to the Superintendent of Police South.
