PANJIM: Congress’ senior leaders have appealed to its youth wing to gear up for State Assembly elections 2022 with unemployment and drugs as two key issues.
The leaders including AICC incharge of Youth Congress Krishna Allavaru, All India Youth Congress Incharge for Goa Akhilesh Yadav, GPCC President Girish Chodankar, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat and others were speaking while addressing ‘Yuva Jagor’, a youth conclave organized by the Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (GPYCC).

Chodankar appealed Youth Congress members to go on a mission of “One Booth, Five Youth” in run-up to the Assembly Elections of 2022 and fight two key issues of unemployment and drugs.
“Every wrong action of the defective, corrupt and insensitive BJP government headed by Dr Pramod Sawant will have to face Youth Congress style reaction,” Chodankar said as he lauded the relentless hard work put in by Youth Congress in Goa in raising issues concerning the people.
AICC in-charge of Youth Congress Krishna Allavaru said the GPYCC must work towards identifying job opportunities for the youth and ensure that the same are implemented by the Congress Government after coming to power in 2022.
All India Youth Congress In-charge for Goa Akhilesh Yadav said it is high time to change the government of intellectually bankrupt Dr Pramod Sawant. Expressing confidence on Youth Congress workers, he said that Congress will emerge victorious in 2022.
On the other hand, Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat said the Yuva Jagor will ignite each and every youth of Goa to fight against the BJP government’s failed policies.
“I want to state on record that the awakening of youth will ensure that the divisive, incompetent and insensitive BJP government is defeated and people-friendly Congress-led government is formed in 2022 election,” he said.
The party will emerge victorious stated Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat. He complimented the Youth Congress team for their relentless efforts in launching various protests and agitations against the “faulty” policies and “anti-people” decisions of the BJP government.
