MARGAO: A late night accident between a scooter and a motorcycle at Curtorim resulted in one fatality and left two others seriously injured.
The deceased has been identified as Anthony D’Costa (33) from Curtorim while the injured are Abel Sequeira (57) and his wife Nifa Sequeira (55). The couple has been admitted to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, where they are receiving treatment for their injuries.

According to the Maina-Curtorim Police, the collision occurred when the motorcycle rider was heading from Curtorim to Macasana while Abel and his wife were proceeding towards Curtorim on their two-wheeler.
Anthony, the motorcycle rider, was first taken to the South Goa District Hospital, here, but was pronounced dead by doctors. Abel and Nifa were also taken to the District Hospital before being shifted to the GMC for further treatment.
