MARGAO: The First Additional Civil Judge Senior Division and JMFC, Margao on Friday issued summons to witnesses in connection with the One Day International cricket fake ticket scam reported, at Margao, in April 2001. The matter for evidence is posted on April 8.
Narvekar and eight others namely GCA Secretary Vinod ‘Balu’ Phadke, Rama Shankardas, ticket contractor Chinmay Falari and his brother Devdutt Falari have been chargesheeted with the alleged ‘fake’ ticket scam during the ODI match played between India and Australia at Fatorda stadium on April 6, 2001.
