CHINCHINIM: The feast of Our Lady of Hope was celebrated at Our Lady of Hope Church, Chinchinim, on Sunday.
Feast Mass was telecast on CCRTV at 9.30 am wherein Fr Hermogenes Fernandes, Chaplain of St Anthony Chapel, Deussua was the main celebrant besides other concelebrants.

In his homily, Fr Hermogenes stressed on Mother Mary’s virtues.
He said “Nowadays days most people keep gossiping about others. We should not gossip, but should forget and forgive others. We should follow God’s commandments and should not be interested in worldly desires. We should lead a spiritual life and as disciples of Christ, we should follow His footsteps.”
He requested the faithful to love one another and follow the footsteps of Mother Mary. Due to the prevailing COVID pandemic no devotees were allowed inside the church, informed parish priest Fr Jose Antonio da Costa.
