Goa Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant met Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi and discussed matters related to healthcare and medical education in the state.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister thanked the Union Minister for assuring the speedy commissioning of the new ESI Medical College in Margao. The proposed medical college is expected to significantly strengthen healthcare infrastructure and expand opportunities for medical education in Goa.

Dr Sawant said the project would benefit both patients and aspiring medical students while improving access to quality healthcare services in the state.
The Chief Minister also expressed confidence that the timely completion and operationalisation of the institution would contribute towards the overall development of Goa’s healthcare sector.
