Bicholim Police Hold Two-Wheeler Awareness Rally on International Day Against Drug Abuse

To mark the International Day Against Drug Abuse, the Bicholim Police organised a two-wheeler awareness rally across Bicholim taluka to educate the public about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a drug-free society.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant flagged off the rally at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali. The event was attended by Bicholim Police Inspector Vijay Rane, Ravindra Bhavan (Sankhali) Vice-Chairman Vishant Chimulkar, along with other dignitaries, police personnel, and officials.

The rally travelled through various parts of Bicholim taluka, spreading awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encouraging community participation in the fight against drugs.

Through the initiative, the police appealed to young people to stay away from narcotics and play an active role in building a healthy, addiction-free, and resilient society. The awareness drive formed part of the nationwide observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and highlighted the importance of collective efforts to curb drug abuse.
