Several people were injured after an aircraft reportedly linked to NCP chief and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar crashed while attempting an emergency landing at Baramati airport on Wednesday morning. According to initial reports, the plane had taken off from Mumbai and encountered difficulties about an hour into the journey, prompting an emergency landing attempt around 9 am. Ajit Pawar was scheduled to travel to Baramati to attend four key public meetings and address rallies ahead of the upcoming local body elections.
