All the passengers were primary tested and then allowed to board the train on Wednesday.

As per protocol, there were police all over the periphery of the railway station. However due to some miscommunication between the administrative departments, around 386 persons who had come to the station were sent back to their shelter homes in Peddem and Duler stadiums due to the absence of additional seating.

The train with 24 compartments was full. It is to be noted that Superintendent of Police (SP) Arvind Gawas, IAS, Sanjiv Dessai, Additional Collector on COVID duty and others were present.
