PANJIM: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday announced its ‘dream team’ of 40 who will be party face in each of the constituencies in the State.
Addressing the media, Aam Aadmi Party national secretary Ashutosh said the coordinators will act as a bridge between the people and party.
He said Aam Aadmi Party started work in Goa six months ago and has completed the first phase of organisational development in the State.
“National parties took decades to develop their organisation in the way AAP has done,” Ashutosh said.
He said Aam Aadmi Party is confident of forming the government in Goa after the 2017 polls. “AAP is contesting elections in Goa to win and form the government,” he said.
Aam Aadmi Party complained that their volunteers, on an awareness drive of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s rally on Sunday, are being threatened by some MLAs and councillors.
“Some MLAs and councillors are threatening our volunteers who are reaching to each and every corner of Goa and inviting people for Arvind Kejriwal’s public rally,” AAP national secretary said.
“This is a democratic State and we won’t behave like them. We will even invite MLAs and councillors who are threatening our volunteers. We will go their homes with roses and invite them to the rally,” Ashutosh said.
He said Aam Aadmi Party is the only alternative for Goans, who always wanted a difference in politics. “We have invited every Goan for the public rally. We have reached two lakh families. We are expecting large numbers to attend the rally,” he said.
