PANJIM: The Aam Admi Party (AAP) will launch a State-level initiative to establish grassroots organisation structure of the party across the State. The drive called “Mission Nirmann” will begin soon after the Zilla Panchayat elections on March 22.
The 25-member team has Valmiki Naik as the committee chief and Pradeep Ghadi Amonkar as its vice-chairman.

Addressing the media persons at its office here, the Goa Prabhari of AAP and Delhi MLA Atishi announced the State-level exercise as she also took a dig at the BJP for “betraying” the people of Goa.
“The people of Goa are frustrated by the continuous betrayal by the BJP on burning issues of the common man such as unemployment, garbage, Mhadei etc. The Congress Party in State too has reduced itself to a ‘substitute’ team of the BJP, by providing elected MLAs as required to prop up the unpopular and weak BJP government. In contrast, the AAP is seen a party that fulfills its promises and makes a positive change in the life of the common man,” she said.
Elaborating on the effort in the presence of State Convener Elvis Gomes, Atishi said that ‘Mission Nirmann’ will be carried out over the next three months, with progressive expansion aimed at achieving Taluka-level, constituency-level, and booth-level structure across the State.
