VASCO: Alert Tariff police officials prevented another suicide bid at Zuari Bridge on Tuesday.
According to police, Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Shobha Kankonkar and IRB constable Ajaykumar Kharwar, both attached to Vasco traffic cell noticed a 36-year-old woman at Zuari Bridge at about 4.30 pm on Tuesday. As she was alone and her movement was suspicious, both the policemen rushed towards her and rescued her before she could jump out from the bridge. Police said that the victim woman from New Vaddem Vasco was complaining of some family problems. The woman was handed over to Verna police station for investigation.
