ANC Seizes ₹7.84 Lakh Worth Hydroponic Ganja in Mapusa Raid; Navi Mumbai Man Arrested

The Goa Police Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) conducted a narcotics raid at the yard parking area in Mapusa, leading to the arrest of a 25-year-old man from Navi Mumbai for alleged illegal possession of hydroponic ganja valued at ₹7.84 lakh.

The accused has been identified as Anirudh Ashok Bhogle (25), a native of Vashi in Navi Mumbai. During the operation, ANC officials reportedly recovered 224 grams of hydroponic cannabis (ganja) from his possession.

Police sources stated that the seized contraband has been estimated to be worth approximately ₹7.84 lakh in the illegal market. Following the seizure, Bhogle was taken into custody and booked under relevant provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

Further investigation is underway to ascertain the source of the contraband and whether the accused was part of a larger distribution network.
