PERNEM: The local unit of Shiv Sena has filed a complaint before the Pernem police accusing the chief minister and the PWD officials of endangering the lives of the people by not maintaining the National Highway between Dhargal and Patradevi.
Accusing the chief minister and the PWD authorities of violating Article 21 of the Constitution of India, the complaint by Shiv Sena demands that the police book them under Sections 299, 300, 304, 307 and 336 of IPC for “endangering human lives”.
Alleging that the condition of the highway between Dhargal and Patradevi is the worst, the Shiv Sena claims that “daily commuters, especially the motorists, are facing hardships due to the ongoing pathetic, negligent and unsafe work of four lane highway.”
“Despite repeated complaints about the hardships to the authorities, the condition of the road has not been improved, till now,” the complaint reads as.
