“I fail to understand in the midst of COVID-19 Pandemic when Goa till 2nd November had already lost 617 people due to it, how our State government could think of holding this most controversial EDM event. We would be making fool of ourselves by expecting the authorities to enforce social distancing norm to keep coronavirus at bay when thousands of people would be assembling at one crowded place to attend it,” he said.

He added that health experts are already warning of 2nd COVID-19 wave sweeping India and afflicting and killing more citizens including Goa between November 2020 and January 2021.
