Curtorim resident injured in mishap

MARGAO: A Maina Curtorim resident Mariano Jose Rebello, 57, suffered head injuries after he was knocked down by Shivbrat Chauhan, 23, a resident of Vagulem-Curtorim. Chauhan has been booked for rash and negligent driving by Maina Curtorim police under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC. Police said that the accused while proceeding from Maina towards Ramnagari on his Hero Honda Pleasure scooter dashed against an oncoming TVS Scooty Streak at Ramnagari junction.
