PANJIM: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered an FIR against two persons for taking Rs 1 cr loan from a nationalised bank by allegedly fraudulently mortgaging property belonging to a person from Calangute.

A woman from Santa Cruz and a man from Dhuler Mapusa have been arrested in this regards.
The owner has complained that the title deeds of the property were forged and the same were presented at the nationalised bank to secure loan to the tune of Rs one crore, police said.
