MAYEM: Deputy Speaker Anant Shet congratulated Ankita Navelkar for being elected as North Goa ZP president.
He said that the new development will give boost to all-round development of rural areas in north Goa including Mayem constituency. He assured full support to ZP President Ankita Navelkar and said all-round development will take momentum.
He further said he will urge the government to provide more funds to ZP and take up some good projects in rural areas were they are needed.
Speaking to Herald, Navelkar said it is a big responsibility and she will work hard and will try to develop North Goa’s rural villages by providing funds to all the constituencies in North Goa region.
“Deputy Speaker Anant Shet has given full support to me. Sanquelim MLA Dr Pramod Sawant also played a major role in electing me from Karapur-Sarvan ZP constituency,” said Navelkar.
