MargaO: GAKUVED Federation in a memorandum submitted to the government has demanded immediate filling up of all the backlog reserved posts for SC, ST and OBC and also asked the position of people recruited in government service so far.
In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, Minister for Tribal Welfare, Chief Secretary, Education and Finance Secretaries and Director of Accounts and Personnel Department GAKUVED also demanded that the Accounts and Education Department issue a fresh advertisement for the back log of SC, ST and OBC posts only.Further it has demanded a response from the Director of Accounts to the notice issued by the Goa Commissioner for SC and ST.Quoting answers provided in the Goa Legislative Assembly GAKUVED alleged that deliberately misleading figures are provided to mislead MLAs and hide the truth from the people.The Government action, its past and proposed recruitment is meant to defeat the Constitutional rights to the SC, ST and OBC communities in recruitment with the sole intention to damage their prospects in recruitment and to reduce their representation in Government employment they said.
