A major development could soon reshape the Indian esports landscape, as Global Esports is currently in discussions with Revenant XSpark over a potential strategic partnership or merger and acquisition (M&A) deal. The update was shared by Global Esports founder and CEO Dr. Rushindra Sinha, sparking excitement across the gaming community.
Over the past few years, Global Esports has shifted its focus from Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) to PC esports, particularly VALORANT. The organisation remains India’s sole representative in Riot Games’ prestigious VCT Pacific league. If the proposed deal materialises, Revenant XSpark could gain access to one of the biggest international VALORANT ecosystems.

Revenant XSpark has established itself as one of India’s leading mobile esports organisations, fielding teams in BGMI, Honor of Kings and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The organisation has also built a strong creator network, with popular gaming personality Tanmay “ScoutOP” Singh serving as one of its co-owners.
A partnership between the two organisations would combine Global Esports’ global VALORANT presence with Revenant XSpark’s dominance in mobile esports, potentially creating one of India’s most diverse esports brands.
Dr. Rushindra Sinha stated that further details will be announced once the discussions are finalised. He also assured fans that the current VALORANT playing roster will remain unchanged regardless of the outcome.
However, Global Esports has confirmed one significant internal change. Head coach Frost has departed the organisation, with assistant coach Daniel promoted to lead the VALORANT roster as the new head coach.
