PANJIM: The Goa Government Employees Association (GGEA) in a statement said they would not be participating in the strike to be observed on Wednesday.
“Though GGEA extends moral support to the cause of the working class, GGEA will not participate in the strike. All members of GGEA working in various autonomous bodies and all government employees are requested to take note of the same and attend their duties as usual,” GGEA president John Nazareth said.
