PANJIM: Greater Panaji Planning and Development Authority (GPPDA) has decided to adopt the newly-prepared land use map and register of Taleigao Planning area showing the present land use patterns.
After inviting objections from the people in July this year, a sub-committee was appointed to hear objections and the report was submitted to GPPDA.
“Under Section 27 (4) of the Town & Country Planning Act, 1974, the sub-committee placed the report at its Authority meeting held on Aug 27. The Authority considered the report of the sub-committee with some modifications and unanimously resolved to adopt the Land Use Map and Register,” GPPDA member secretary R K Pandita said.
