Hundreds seek permits to go to native places

VASCO: Long queues were seen at the Mormugao administrative offices on Thursday morning to seek permissions to travel back to their native places, as well as permits for their grocery stores.

Many of these people have been stuck in Goa, unable to travel back to their respective home States ever since the inter-State movement has been blocked completely. They added that they are concerned about the well-being of their family members.  

Speaking about the situation in general, Congress leader Sankalp Amonkar urged the locals not to panic and observe social distancing and follow the lockdown seriously.
