Light rain expected at isolated places

The state will see light rain at isolated locations for the next 24 hours due to westerly winds caused by cyclonic circulation in Tamil Nadu, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Due to moisture intrusion in the weather from cyclonic circulation over interior Tamil Nadu, the state awoke on Thursday to gloomy weather with clouds covering the sky.
