PONDA: A day after Cyclone Tauktae wrecked havoc across the State; the Ponda market witnessed a massive rush of customers on Monday for purchasing tarpaulin.
With the curfew in force, many shops selling plastic and tarpaulin saw a massive crowd as consumers violated social distancing norms.
It is pertinent to note that the curfew has halted repair works as there is shortage of labourers, who have left to their native places.
