TIVIM: Assistant Director of Transport Mengasham Pilankar kicked off the Road Safety Week in Mapusa city.
The Road Safety Week started from the RTO Mapusa, KTC bus stand. RTO inspectors of Mapusa, RTO clerical staff, members from the Consumer Forum, members from the driving schools, instructors, taxi and rickshaw drivers and members from the Siolim Panchayat Road Safety and traffic management, participated in the awareness ‘walkaton’ through the Mapusa city.
Roland Martins thanked Mapusa RTO assistant director for taking the initiative and appealed to the public to form road safety and traffic management committees in their panchayats and municipal areas.
