VASCO: In a sudden political twist, six panchas in the 11-member Chicalim Panchayat have moved no confidence motion against Sarpanch Nilam Naik on Tuesday. According to information, the no confidence motion has been moved by Anita Vaz, Marie Mascarenhas, Francisco Nunes, Rubina Rodrigues, Veronica Andrade D’Souza and Hemant Fadte and the same has been submitted before Mormugao Block Development officer on Tuesday evening. Interestingly, the no confidence motion has been moved by both the ruling and opposition panchas.
