PONDA: Ponda Police on Monday arrested a 41-year-old truck driver from Phondchebahat-Ponda in connection with illegal extraction of sand at Savoi-Verem, Ponda.
According to Ponda Police, Mahadev Naik was arrested and the truck used for sand transportation has also been attached.

Police said Naik was driving the truck and during the raid the truck was loaded with sand.
Ponda Police are on lookout of unknown persons, who were also involved in illegal extraction of sand at Savoi-Verem.
